The designs, by Michlmayr clock and watchmakers, feature a timepiece modelled on the existing clock above the entrance to Norwich Railway Station.

Plans submitted to Norwich City Council propose removing an advert banner currently above the main entrance to make way for the new feature.

As part of the works, brickwork behind the existing installation will be cleaned to remove any debris, dust and pigeon guano.
