MP (with no military bases in his constituency) backs their use for asylum seekers
Ben Goldsborough, who represents South Norfolk for the Labour party, endorsed the controversial policy as it would reduce the cost of using hotels for migrants.
The issue has generated strong debate in Norfolk because the Ministry of Defence has put forward two army camps in the county for possible use.
Neither are in Mr Goldsborough's constituency, which does not appear to have any suitable sites.
