A proposed new indoor tennis, padel and multisport hub at Lynnsport in King’s Lynn could transform racket sports in West Norfolk, according to borough council plans developed in collaboration with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA).

Focused on broadening access to year-round play, the scheme would see underused outdoor courts at Lynnsport covered and upgraded.

It would also include the addition of a multi-use games area and three new premium covered padel courts.

2) Four new homes could now be built by a developer on a main road near a town's football ground

West Norfolk Council has received outline plans for land off the Lynn Road in Walsoken, on the outskirts of Wisbech.

A similar scheme for the site was approved last year, comprising four so-called "self-build" homes.

But the council is now being asked to agree to the removal of the self-build........
