Adder warning in Norfolk as venomous snakes come out to bask
With the recent warm weather, adders have become more active and can be seen basking and foraging.
The reptile is often found in heathlands, dry commons and sunny woodland clearings.
With the species gradually declining and extinction predicted by 2032, wildlife photographer Julie Smart was "absolutely thrilled" to capture the snakes.
