5 of the best places in Norfolk to spot rare birds
Here are five nature reserves in Norfolk where you may be able to spot some rare birds.
Where: Holt, Norfolk, NR25 7SA
Price: Free entry for members and £5.50 for non-members for access to the nature reserve/hide access
Opening times: Every day from dawn till dusk
The wide open marshes and the long stretch of north Norfolk coast make the reserve a hotspot for rare vagrant birds.
With several hides and a raised hardened bank, visitors may be in with a chance at spotting a marsh harrier, avocet, bittern or spoonbill.
