Whether it's the recent story of a tiny rodent taking a perilous journey across some traffic lights, or a smelly creature causing chaos, these animals were definitely far from home.

An adventurous little hamster was spotted at a set of traffic lights in Heartsease Lane, near Mousehold Heath last week.

The tiny pet, affectionately called "Rambo" by the woman who spotted him, had a minor injury to his eye.

Delivery driver, Sheri Marie Wells, who rescued the hamster said: "I thought it was some litter to start with then I realised it wasn't windy and he was moving so naturally I........
