Keith Ewing, who owns Sirplus Trading with his son Gary, revealed he is moving to Magdalen Street after getting fed up with waiting for information about temporary units being offered to shop owners as work on the Anglia Square revamp takes place.

The council said it would provide businesses with container-style sites – called a box park – which they can move into during the redevelopment.

Keith said: "We needed to know the price months ago, to know what we’re comparing against for the rest of the city.

"We wanted to try and stay in Anglia Square but decided to move because we needed that security for the future and due to any lack of communication around........
