Proposed flat conversion of grade-II listed building suffers setback
Norwich City Council said the plans, to convert the grade-II listed St Faiths House in Mountergate - just off Prince of Wales Road - raised several concerns.
Prime Meridian, acting on behalf of the applicant, hope to develop the existing three-storey building into six self-contained flats.
However the proposals have suffered a blow after it was looked at by the council's conservation and design officer.
In a response to the plans it says: "The conversion of the building to its original residential function is considered acceptable in principle, however, the proposal as currently submitted raises several concerns.
