Bosses at the Hope Church in Ayton Road, Wymondham, applied for a "certificate of appropriate alternative development" in January so that several possible options could be proposed.

The first is to retain the existing church building on the east side of the 1.4-acre plot, keep all the current car parking spaces, but build a new 8,200 sq ft office unit........
