Part of A47 to close this weekend to allow 12mph convoy to trundle across Norfolk
Police will escort the transformer - needed to help convert power generated by Ørsted's planned Hornsea 3 offshore wind farm - as it makes its way from King's Lynn to the recently constructed converter station at Swardeston, near Norwich.

The convoy will have a maximum speed of 12mph, as it travels from the port at King's Lynn, where it is due to set off at 6.30am on Sunday (January 18) to Swardeston.
It is due to travel through King's Lynn on Crossbank Road, the A1078, Grimston Road, Queen........
