New photographs show massive wind farm station being built next to the A47
Captured by aerial photographer Mike Page, the images give a fresh perspective on a project which will have caught the eye of many motorists on the city's southern bypass.
They show Danish energy company Ørsted's work to construct an onshore converter station site on fields close to Swardeston.
The site will serve Hornsea 3, which will be the world's largest offshore wind farm.
The energy company says that once built, the wind farm will produce enough renewable green energy to power more than 3.3m UK homes.
