New £500k pot of cash to boost scores of groups and charities across Norfolk
Norfolk County Council agreed on Monday (June 2) to create the Norfolk Community Fund - a pot of almost £500,000 - which councillors can give to local groups.
All 84 county councillors will be allocated £5,000 from that fund, which they can give out via grants ranging from £200 to £2,500 to support local projects promoting social inclusion, volunteer opportunities, and community engagement.
