Drivers have been warned there will be more closures next month, but some good news is that plans to shut the road next weekend have been revised.

The A140 to the north of the town, between St Michael’s Road and Brands Lane, had been due to be fully closed from 8pm on Friday (July 25) until 6am on Monday (July 28).

However, a rethink means the road will now be open again from 6am on Saturday (July 26).
