Anger as supermarket giant boots mobile cancer units out of its car parks
Tesco gave the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (N&N) a single day to stop providing the service from its Sprowston and Dereham superstore car parks.

The supermarket told hospital chiefs they would have to reapply for permission for the units, which visit community locations once a week and allow health professionals to treat some cancer patients closer to their homes.
Tesco said the correct internal process had not been followed when permission was originally granted for the units.
The Dereham car park has been used since 2021, and the Sprowston site since January this year.
