Stand-off ahead of youth football club meeting sees parents and female coaches barred

Around a dozen parents tried to get into Wymondham Town United's (WTUFC) AGM to air concerns about the running of the club - but were met with friction at the door.

Mums and dads who pay subscriptions of £25 a month for their children to play at 400-strong WTUFC believe they have a right to have a say over the running of the Kett's Park-based club.

But last night (Thursday, December 11) officials stood their ground before proceedings got under way at Wymondham Rugby Club.........
