Rakul Preet Singh has reacted to the Income Tax searches, saying the search was not related to her and denying illegal foreign remittances and benami property.

New Delhi: Actress Rakul Preet Singh has broken her silence on the recent ongoing Income Tax raids linked to her. Taking to Instagram, she clarified that the search was not connected to her.

Last week, Income Tax Department conducted searches at several locations reportedly linked to Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh, Vashu Bhagnani, and Panorama Studios.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a long note, saying that she is a “responsible law-abiding citizen” and is “not involved in any kind of illegal Foreign remittance”.

She wrote, “Let’s therefore set the record straight once for all. The search was not pertaining to me. Let it be known that I am from the Armed Forces........
