PM Modi, Macron discuss UPI expansion in France and AI cooperation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron held wide-ranging bilateral talks in Nice, signing 19 agreements covering innovation, AI, trade, mobility and health, while also discussing the expansion of India's UPI payment system at French airports.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the French Mediterranean city of Nice has resulted in a broad package of bilateral outcomes, with India and France signing 19 agreements spanning a wide range of strategic and economic areas. PM Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron held detailed bilateral discussions covering innovation, artificial intelligence, trade and investment, sustainability, security, culture and people-to-people ties, the Ministry of External Affairs said.
