News9 Indian Tigers and Tigresses season 2: Orchids The International School's Khel Mahotsav concludes with Bengaluru trials
New Delhi: The trials for season 2 of the TV9 Network’s News9 Indian Tigers and Tigresses football talent hunt initiative were conducted successfully with the Khel Mohatsav tournament, which is hosted nationwide by Orchids The International School. The groundbreaking Khel Mahotsav, which was organised across the country in multiple branches, concluded successfully with the Bengaluru trials, which was conducted across 3 clusters.
The Bengaluru trials were held in Yelahanka, Kengeri and Panathur. A whopping 3,100 students participated, with 440 teams including both boys’ and girls’ teams across all clusters.
OIS Panathur Principal, Shalini Chaudhary, shared her excitement with TV9 Network: “We have organised Khel Mahotsav wherein students from eight branches of Orchids International are here, and they have showcased their camaraderie and their sportsmanship. This is in collaboration with News9 and TV9 Network, wherein they are having the largest football talent hunt for students aged between 12 to 17 years of age. And this pathway will definitely showcase an arena of excellence and hard work by the students, and that will bring in young footballers out to the ground.”
OIS Yelahanka Principal, Deepali Mehrotra, hailed the landmark initiative of TV9: “This is a very fabulous initiative made by TV9 and News9 to initiate the process of young Tigers and Tigresses in the field of football.
