New Delhi: Sonam Raghuvanshi, the missing wife of Indore man Raja Raghuvanshi, was arrested on Sunday. Raja and Sonam got married recently and had gone to Meghalaya on their honeymoon. The couple went missing last month after they visited some places in the northeastern state, prompting police to launch a massive manhunt. The search operation led to the recovery of Raja’s body on June 2.
The newlywed couple went missing on May 23 while visiting Cherrapunjee in the East Khasi Hills. The couple were last seen checking out of a homestay in Nongriat village. They had rented a scooter to visit places which was found abandoned at Sohrarim a day after they went missing.
