New Delhi: FC Goa became the first team to retain the Super Cup trophy with a 6-5 penalty shootout victory over East Bengal in in Margao on Sunday.

At the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium neither of the teams could score in regulation time and then extra 30 minutes.

Borja Herrera missed from the spot for Goa while Mohammed Rashid and PV Vishnu drove their shot over the cross bar in identical fashion.
