Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory ahead of the BRICS Summit 2026, with traffic diversions and restrictions planned across key parts of the capital from September 11 to 13. Commuters have been asked to avoid controlled roads, use alternative routes, rely on Metro services and allow extra travel time.
New Delhi: The Delhi Traffic Police has issued a detailed advisory for commuters ahead of the BRICS Summit 2026, which will be held in the national capital from September 11 to 13.
Traffic diversions and movement restrictions will be introduced across several important roads, particularly in and around the New Delhi district. The measures are aimed at ensuring the smooth movement of VIP convoys while reducing inconvenience for the public.
The advisory covers 22 diversion points and more than 35 controlled roads.
