New Delhi: Political strategist-turned-politician Prashant Kishor met actor-turned-politician Vijay in Chennai on Monday. What is the connection between the two? The meeting has set rumour mills abuzz in the political circles of Tamil Nadu which goes to polls in March-April next year. Especially, when it is not clear whether Vijay met the politician heading Jan Suraaj Party (JSP) or the political strategist heading I-PAC (Indian-Political Action Committee). Is Vijay’s newly launched political party – Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) employing the services of Prashant Kishor’s I-PAC to guide and advise it in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections? Or are the two parties — TVK and Kishor’s JSP joining forces to reshape the contours of state politics?

According to media reports, the meeting was facilitated by Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam’s (TVK) campaign head Aadhav Arjuna and he has termed the meeting between the two as nothing but a courtesy call.
