Tata Motors unveils AMT in Altroz CNG; price starts at Rs 8.69 lakh

Tata Motors has added 5-speed AMT gearbox in the Altroz CNG powertrain as well. This makes the Altroz as the only premium hatchback in India getting the CNG AMT powertrain.

New Delhi: Tata Motors has added the Altroz hatchback’s CNG trim with a 5-speed AMT option at a starting price of Rs 8.69 lakh. With this, the Altroz is now the only premium hatchback in India coming with a CNG AMT powertrain. The Altroz CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine, like the petrol trim but with a factory-fitted twin-cylinder kit.
