Skoda Slavia facelift arrives in India with prices starting at Rs 10 lakh

Skoda Slavia has been revealed for Rs 10 lakh with the top trim commanding a premium of Rs 65,000 from the outgoing model. The powertrain remains unchanged.

New Delhi: Skoda Auto India has unveiled the Slavia facelift at a starting price of Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). The update marks the sedan’s first major mid-cycle refresh since it arrived in India in 2022. Along with styling revisions, Skoda has made several changes to the cabin, added new equipment and introduced a new automatic gearbox for the 1.0-litre TSI engine. The updated Slavia continues to rival the likes of Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City and Hyundai Verna.

The facelift continues the outgoing Slavia’s Rs 10 lakh entry price. However, the range-topping version now commands a Rs 64,000 premium. For comparison, the Honda City is priced between Rs 12 lakh and Rs 21.36 lakh, while the Hyundai Verna ranges from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 18.31 lakh. The Volkswagen Virtus, which shares its platform and powertrains with the Slavia, costs between Rs 10.71 lakh and Rs 19.20 lakh.
