Chennai-Bengaluru Expressway hits 25-km snag, delays loom despite 90% completion
Chennai: A critical 25-kilometer stretch of the much-anticipated Chennai-Bengaluru Expressway (NE-7) is stalled, threatening to delay the entire project’s inauguration despite over 90% of the work being complete. The bottleneck lies on the Tamil Nadu side, specifically between Kanchipuram and Sriperumbudur, casting uncertainty over the Union Minister’s target of making the highway fully operational by July 2026.
