‘Opened a massage parlour?’: Three Arunachal women allege racial abuse by neighbours in Delhi

The altercation took place around 3.30 pm on February 20, when the women had called an electrician to install an air conditioner in their fourth-floor flat. During the drilling work, dust and debris reportedly fell onto the floor below, resulting in objections from their neighbours, identified as Harsh Singh and his wife Ruby Jain.

New Delhi: Three women from Arunachal Pradesh have alleged that they were subjected to racial slurs, humiliation and intimidation by their neighbours following a dispute over repair work at their rented flat in south Delhi’s Malviya Nagar. Police have registered an FIR against a couple in connection with the incident.
