LPG booking rule changed: Customers can now book next cylinder after 25 days
The Centre has reduced the LPG refill booking gap for rural consumers from 45 days to 25 days. The revised rule now brings rural and urban domestic LPG customers under the same booking interval.
New Delhi: The Centre has reduced the minimum gap between LPG refill bookings for rural domestic consumers from 45 days to 25 days, bringing them under the same rule already followed in urban areas. The change takes effect immediately and applies to domestic LPG customers across India.
The earlier 45-day waiting period for rural consumers had been introduced as a temporary measure during pressure on LPG supplies. The Petroleum Ministry has now eased that restriction after supplies improved and pending refill orders came........
