New Delhi: India is preparing to secure its first-ever long-term contracts for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from the United States, according to the report from Bloomberg. The move comes as global LPG flows face disruptions due to Washington’s trade tensions, reshaping access to this vital cooking fuel and plastics feedstock.

A tender document seen by Bloomberg shows that state-run oil companies plan to purchase up to three very-large gas carriers of US LPG per month in 2026.
