Brad Smith, Vice Chair and President of Microsoft, and Natasha Crampton, Vice President and Chief Responsible AI Officer, highlighted a growing disparity in AI usage between developed and developing nations. To address this, Microsoft announced ambitious plans to invest a substantial sum to bring AI capabilities to countries in the Global South.
