Watch: Iran releases video of Mojtaba Khamenei after reports claimed Supreme Leader critical

Iran's semi-official news agency, Mehr News has shared a video of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. In the video, he seems to be interacting with a group of people and is in good health. The video came just days after claims were made regarding the Supreme Leader being in a "critical condition." There have also been reports of him being "permanently disabled" after the February 28 attack, which killed his father.

New Delhi: Iran’s news agency, Mehr News on Saturday released footage of the country’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. This came, just days after reports claimed that he was in a critical condition. The undated video was released on August 8, 2026.

The video showed Khamenei in good health, surrounded by a group of men. The Supreme Leader seems to be talking to the men and they appear listening to him with complete attention. However, it is not yet known when the video was shot.
