Maharashtra: Woman critical after doctors leave gloves, wipes in abdomen after C-section in Beed

A woman was left in extreme pain after doctors at the Beed District Hospital left surgical equipment inside her abdomen, after a C-Section surgery. An emergency operation had to be performed at a Pune Hospital days later and currently the patient is fighting for her life. An enquiry has been irdered in the case.

New Delhi: A shocking case of medical negligence has emerged from Beed District Hospital in Maharashtra. A 19-year-old woman who had a C-section delivery is now fighting for her life as surgical items were reportedly left inside her abdomen, post the surgery. The woman delivered a baby at the hospital on August 1, reported NDTV.
