Congress questions Amit Shah’s ‘no show’ in Parliament, Kiren Rijiju hits back

Jairam Ramesh on Tuesday asked why Union Home Minister Amit Shah was missing from the Parliament, despite important business being listed against his name. He indirectly called Shah a "coward." Following the attack, Kiren Rijiju said that Shah was ready with a reply but the Congress was not letting the Parliament function.

New Delhi: The Congress Party on Tuesday took a swipe at Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s continuous absence from the Lok Sabha. Party MP, Jairam Ramesh said in the House that Shah was a “no show” in the House despite important business being listed against his name.

Ramesh took to social media platform, ‘X’ and said that “those who intimidate are themselves cowards.” The Congress MP was referring to the Union Home Minister. Responding to the jibe, the Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Kiren Rijiju said that Shah was “ready with a reply.”

After all that planting of news and desperate attempts to shift the narrative, the Union Home Minister was a no-show in the Lok Sabha today as well – even though he had business listed against his name.........
