New Delhi: Krishna Karunesh has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Noida Authority replacing Dr. Lokesh M, who was removed in the wake of the tragic death of engineer Yuvraj Mehta. The administrative reshuffle comes amid widespread questions about governance and accountability following the incident in Sector 150, Noida.

He is a 2011-batch IAS officer from Bihar who has previously served as the Additional Chief Executive Officer (ACEO) of the Noida Authority. His appointment marks a significant leadership change at the authority at a time when it has been under intense scrutiny as Dr Lokesh M. who had assumed charge as CEO in July 2023 has now been placed on the waiting list by the Yogi Adityanath........
