Defence ministry approves Rs 79,000 crore military upgrades for Army, Navy, and Air Force
New Delhi: India is set to strengthen its armed forces with a major purchase of military equipments worth Rs 79,000 crore. The Defence Acquisition Council (DAC), led by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, approved several important equipment purchases for the army, navy, and air force during a meeting on Thursday.
