New Delhi: The central government employees are having big expectations from Budget 2025 which will be presented by Finance Nirmalal Sitharaman on February 1, 2025 (Saturday). The employees and pensioners are hoping that the government will give more information on the 8th Pay Commission during the budget presentation.
On January 16, 2025, the central government approved the 8th Pay Commission, which will be constituted next year in 2026. If the fitment factor is fixed at 2.08, then the minimum basic salary of employees can increase from Rs 18,000 to Rs 37,440. At the same time, pension could increase from Rs 9,000 to Rs 18,720.
