L&T to build India’s largest single-cluster AI infrastructure facility in Chennai

With Together AI, infrastructure giant L&T is going to build India's largest single-cluster AI infrastructure facility. It will be located in Chennai and the value of the project can go up to Rs 15,000 crore. It is expected to enhance India's AI computing capabilities and strengthen L&T's position in high-tech digital infrastructure.

Kolkata: Amid the growing adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in India, infrastructure giant Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has taken up a project that is going to be India’s largest single-cluster AI infrastructure facility. It will be located in Chennai and will be built in partnership with Together AI, which is a US-based cloud platform for developers and AI researchers who want to build, train, and run open-source generative AI models.. The value of the project can go up to Rs 15,000 crore. It will deploy approximately 10,000 GPUs based on NVIDIA’s B300 platform.
