Kolkata: August was a bumper month for India’s diesel exports to Europe. Reports stated that diesel exports to Europe from India jumped 137% (y-o-y) to touch 242,000 barrels per day (bpd) in August. The performance is August also marked a surge of 73% compared to July and a leap of 124% compared to the average shipments of the preceding 12 months, according to reports which quoted data by Kpler, a global real-time data and analytics provider.

According to another energy cargo tracker Vortexa, India’s diesel exports to Europe in August stood at 228,316 bpd, which is 36% higher than that achieved a month ago (in July) and 166% higher (y-o-y) ie, when compared to August last year.
