Delhi dentist lies about marriage to ward off AIIMS assistant professor, post sparks debate

A Delhi-based dentist shared how she had to falsely claim she was married to stop an AIIMS assistant professor from persistently asking her out.

New Delhi: A dentist took to social media to share how she had to invent a fake marriage just to stop an assistant professor from AIIMS Delhi from repeatedly pursuing her and her friend.

Sharing screenshots of the WhatsApp exchange on X, Dr Prajkta Jadhav detailed why she resorted to the claim. “I had to lie to a guy that I got married 4 months ago & that my friend got engaged, so he’d stop asking both of us out, though he knows she’s been in a relationship for 6 years,” she wrote.
