NASA to roll back Artemis II Moon Rocket over helium leaks
NASA has determined that the helium leaks of the Artemis II rocket cannot be fixed at the launch pad. The launch vehicle is being rolled back to the Vehicle Assembly Building to troubleshoot the issues.
New Delhi: NASA plans to roll back the brand new Space Launch System (SLS) rocket along with the Orion Spacecraft for the Artemis II mission from the launch pad back to the Vehicle Assembly Building at the Kennedy Space Centre on 25 February, 2026. The roughly six km trek will be covered by the Crawler-Transporter 2 over a period of 12 hours.
