New Delhi: In a major development in the Gorakhpur NEET murder, all policemen posted at the Jungle Dhushar outpost have been suspended following the crime. The outpost in-charge, along with the entire staff, has been relieved of duty. A departmental inquiry has also been initiated against all suspended personnel. The action was taken by SSP Rajkaran Nayyar.

A 19-year-old student preparing for the NEET exam, identified as Dileep Gupta from Mahuachafi Tola village under Pipraich police station limits, was killed late on the night of September 16. He was allegedly attacked by cattle smugglers after he and other villagers tried to chase them.
