New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals (RR) pacer Jofra Archer cleaned up Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad in the clash between the two sides at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Monday, March 30. CSK got off to a disastrous start in their season opener, losing both their opening batters cheaply inside the first two overs.

Gaikwad opened the batting with Sanju Samson amid high expectations from the revamped CSK squad in the new season. However, it was the same old story for the five-time champions as their batting struggled much like it did last season, where they finished at the bottom of the points table with just four wins from 14 matches.
