Team India told to get ready for life without Jasprit Bumrah after Sri Lanka series fiasco

Jasprit Bumrah was initially expected to be fit for the Test series against Sri Lanka, however, he was ruled out two-match rubber after failing to recover in time from a knee issue.

New Delhi: Senior pacer Jasprit Bumrah’s repeated injuries mean India might have to start preparing for life without him in the longer formats. Bumrah has dealt with several injury issues in the last few years, resulting in him missing many important assignments for Team India. The pacer was recently ruled out of the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka.

Bumrah was undergoing rehab for a left knee issue at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru and was expected to make the cut........
