New Delhi: Ashutosh Sharma turned out to be the hero for Delhi Capitals (DC) as he helped his team beat Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 1 wicket in a nail-biting encounter in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Monday, March 24. Ashutosh played a stunning knock of unbeaten 66 runs off just 31 balls to take DC home with 3 balls to spare in a tricky chase of 210 runs at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vizag.

After a dramatic top-order collapse, Delhi Capitals lost half their side for 65 runs in the 210-run chase but Ashutosh produced a sensational knock after coming out to bat at number seven to take his team home. Unfazed under pressure, Ashutosh held his nerves and smashed the LSG bowlers all around the park to power his team to their first win of the season. His 31-ball 66 was laced with five sixes and as many fours.
