The Issue: Democrats’ opposition to Operation Epic Fury despite Iran’s intentions to develop nuclear bombs.
These are unusual times. Even though Iran has enough nuclear material for 11 atomic bombs, most Americans have opposed the war from the start (“Dems vs. US,” Julian Epstein, PostOpinion, April 18).
It seems that misinformation from the media and Democrats has played a big role. Still, it’s surprising that people aren’t more concerned about the risk of Iran attacking our cities. It’s not science fiction; it’s a real possibility.
Usually, when a species is in danger, it will try to protect itself. However, there is strong evidence that people can be influenced to think differently when exposed to enough propaganda and lies.
