AOC’s Munich Security Conference attendance: Letters to the Editor — Feb. 17, 2026
The Issue: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s panel appearances at the Munich Security Conference.
How does Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s taxpayer-funded junket to Germany benefit her constituents in The Bronx and Queens (“Coy to the world,” Feb. 14)?
After abandoning them for national recognition, she seeks to gain global impact by slandering Jews, though many of her constituents are Jewish.
Voters in her poorly served district must deny her a return trip to DC in January by voting her out of office in June’s Democratic primary. Then she can resume her former profession as a bartender, serving drinks instead of disgusting bias.

Why US voters should beware the showman Gavin Newsom
Why George Washington should still inspire every American
While at the Munich Security Conference in Germany, two of America’s finest — Gov. Gavin Newsom and AOC — took the opportunity to knock President Trump’s leadership policies. What a great way to show the world how united this country is.
Ocasio-Cortez also brushed off questions regarding her running in the next presidential election. I don’t buy her coyness.
Way to go, Democrats; we’ll have another socialist helping run the once-beautiful America.
While in Munich disparaging our country, AOC avoided a question about her 2028 plans to run for president. God help America if a moron like her becomes commander-in-chief.
Pollution finding repeal: Letters to the Editor — Feb. 16, 2026
Drug dealers are on the sidewalks in her district of The Bronx, an area she has avoided since taking her seat in Congress, while spending all her time promoting herself for bigger and better undeserved ambitions.
AOC has left her Bronx constituents in the dust to pursue bigger dreams than just being a lowly representative; she clearly wants to be the first female Latin president to bring full-blown socialism to America. Never mind that she has no foreign-policy experience, as demonstrated with her word-salad answers in Munich.
We can only hope the majority of Americans can get past the media hype of an empty smiling candidate and actually vote for the most competent. America, please do your homework.
Clearly, Ocasio-Cortez fell asleep in history class.
For her to have the unmitigated audacity to accuse Israel of committing genocide while she is in Germany, the home of the Holocaust, proves she is one of the most ignorant and hateful people walking this earth.
It is time for every decent human being to call her out and kick her out of office.
The Issue: President Trump axing the EPA finding that justified harsh regulations on CO2 emissions.
Climate change is not a hoax (“WH: Save $2,400 per car,” Feb. 13).
The Earth has been steadily warming since the end of the last Ice Age. Accept it and adapt because there is nothing humans can do to change it.
Forcing people to buy overly expensive electric vehicles while the technology is not ready for prime time or taking away gas stoves will do nothing to stop climate change.
Lastly, people had not voted for this overreach of regulation.
Regulating greenhouse gases is based on decades of scientific data that clearly explains the cause of current climate extremes. For the EPA to give up on this is a dereliction of duty. It’s also something the auto industry was not actively seeking.
Building cars to stronger emission standards makes them more competitive on the world market. The United States pulling away from this mainstream consensus will only isolate us and make our vehicles less desirable worldwide.
