Greater Israel: A Pseudo-Theologian Interpretation of 21st-Century Settler-Colonialism from Huckabee

The US ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, stated that it would be fine if Israel took the territory between the Euphrates and the Nile as defined by a promise made to the biblical character of Abram (Abraham) in the Christian Bible. This revelation, coming from such a high-ranking official, explains why the US has conducted or joined Israel in numerous unjustifiable wars across the Middle East.

Chosen Few Allowed to Eliminate Hundreds of Millions for “A Biblical Promise”

Huckabee’s greenlighting Israel, a nation with just over 7 million Jews, to take territories by genociding hundreds of millions of other groups in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and some parts of Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, shows a racial supremacist view that must be condemned. Also, Rubio’s view that supporting Israel in genocide is needed to secure “God’s” support for the US continues this line, casting “God” as a being not interested in the well-being of all humans but ready to destroy hundreds of millions of other peoples to secure the promised land for the supposed chosen people. Also, it is clear that the “God” invoked in this context must not have been the creator, as he was unable to create land for his people but instead chose to lead his supposedly chosen in genocides and theft. Huckabee’s view (also held by other high-ranking persons in Washington) that Jews have a sacred claim to Palestinian land is unconvincing from many dimensions.

Tucker Carlson refused to take Huckabee’s racist interpretation, choosing to ask pointed questions that tore into the core of any belief that people claiming Jewish descent have any verifiable claim to the Land of Palestine. Before getting into the crux of Carson’s rebuttal to Huckabee, readers should note that the same Bible that may have promised Abraham’s descendants certain land also forbids lying, stealing, and killing. Some US leaders have admitted to lying and stealing, while the US has killed many people, including a million in Iraq, proving that functionaries in Washington only quote the Bible whenever convenient. Carson destroyed Huckabee’s argument by enquiring whether the world should conduct genetic analyses to prove who the real descendants of Abraham are so that they can be settled in Palestine, to which the diplomat objected. Instead, Huckabee, sensing that Zionists from Central Europe lack connection to Abraham, stated that those practicing Judaism and hence with a “spiritual” connection with Abraham should be settled there. However, Carson pointed out how most Zionists do not practice Judaism. Meanwhile, it should be noted that Palestinians have genetic links to the Middle East, while some are direct descendants of Abraham, and their religion also descends from the worship practices of Abraham. Therefore, Zionists lose any claim to the land of Palestine, even based on the one-sided theological interpretation presented by Huckabee, rendering the narrative created to justify Israel as a settler-colonial project inadmissible. This turn of events is likely to accelerate Trump’s plan to attack Iran as the only country that can derail the formation of a greater, apartheid Israel across the Middle East to appease the hypocritical pseudo-theologians in Washington.

Unsurprisingly, on Sunday, February 22, 2026, sources reported that John Kiriaku, a CIA spy turned whistleblower, had received information from sources in the White House that Trump had decided to launch an attack on Iran in a few days. This significant revelation adds to the views of analysts who have assessed that the US war against Iran is just a matter of time, going by the administration’s amassing colossal military capabilities close to Iran, including two Carrier Strike Groups, Abraham Lincoln and Gerald R. Ford, which some have described as the most extensive deployment since WWII. Contrary to other wars the US launched in the Middle East, which received significant support at home, a possible US war against Iran will be unpopular, as the results of a survey published in Politico revealed that the majority of US voters oppose Trump’s strike on Iran. However, the Trump administration and the US deep state are unlikely to heed the electorate’s sentiments, but may choose to follow militarism concealed by pseudo-theological narratives.

Huckabee’s Statement Explains Washington’s Behavior Over the Last Decades

The US has, for decades, created a narrative showing its unreserved readiness to ravage any country in the Middle East to defend its so-called ‘allies’ and partners, which always turned out to be Israel. Speeches of functionaries in the US deep state, including Madeleine Albright, Collin Powell, and Condoleezza Rice, reiterated this open-ended commitment, with the former even claiming that killing half a million Iraqi babies through draconian sanctions was justifiable to avert any fear that Iraq would attack the US allies in the region. Later Collin Powell would dramatize how the possibility of Iraq having the so-called Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs) would threaten the US and its allies in the region. Over decades, the US and Israel have attacked their supposed foes, including Syria and Iran, and their ally, as noted in the Israeli strike on Qatar in September 2025.

American politicians from both sides of the aisle have also affirmed the need to defend Israel, even as Washington arms Israel to maintain the Jewish state’s military dominance, making it unlikely that its neighbors can attack it. Decades ago, Joe Biden, as a senator, revealed that Israel was central to the US policy in the Middle East, emphasizing that Washington would have to invent this Jewish state if it did not exist. Others like the R.F Kennedy also stated that Israel needed to be empowered to advance the US interest in the oil-rich Middle Eastern region. The behavior of the aforementioned parties has pointed to Israel being a settler-colonial project of the West, perpetuated by narratives derived from a hypocritical interpretation of the Christian Bible, as the recent debate between Carlson and Huckabee revealed.
