Anyone with growing kids in the house knows how much they eat, especially when they're having a growth spurt.

My teenage son has reached the age where I only have to glance in his direction and it suddenly dawns on him that he's hungry - AGAIN.

That's why I'm big on celebrating the little wins here and there - the ones that keep him fed, don't cost me a fortune and avoid me spending even more time in the kitchen. Like most kids he's not that keen on spending his own time in there.

Last week was one of those occasions, where I saved both time and money on both of us.
