Ed Miliband has declared the suffering in Gaza and the West Bank as a “stain on the conscience of the world” as he lashed out at the Israeli government.

Speaking at the annual Labour Party conference, the foreign secretary condemned Hamas’ terror 2023 attack on Israel – but said that did not justify the ongoing atrocities inflicted upon Palestinians.
