Sharon Stone is telling all about her tumultuous relationship with Michael Douglas, claiming the two had tension even before they became co-stars in Basic Instinct.

“Michael Douglas did not want to put his bare ass out on the screen with an unknown,” Sharon said in an interview with Business Insider published last week.

“And I understood that. He wouldn’t even test with me. But that was also for a different reason; we had an argument prior to that.”

Sharon said the dispute in question began during a Cannes Film Festival, when the two were sitting with a group and Michael “was talking about someone and their kids”.
