Many a pet owner will know that leaving the house isn’t always as simple as putting one foot in front of the other.

When we first got our rescue dog, he was so nervous when we’d leave him home alone that he chewed his way through a range of our possessions – including but not limited to a TV remote, an Xbox controller, the contents of a backpack (that was a fun vet visit!), and a pair of my trainers.
